Grants:
Donorschoose.org: Pick what materials and supplies you need for your classroom, why you need it, how you will use it, and wait for donors to donate money to your project. When project is funded, they send you your stuff.
Kids in Need Grants: www.kinf.org/grants/. If you have a project you do in class, or you have a project you want to start doing with your classes, this grant funds hands-on projects that required supplies and materials between $100-$500.
Target Field Trip Grants: https://targetfieldtripgrants.target.com/register.php: The Target Field Trip Grants program is an innovative, no-strings-attached initiative that funds field trips for students nationwide. Over 3,600 grants of up to $700 each will be awarded in January 2016. Grants are provided to applicants throughout the United States. Target Field Trip Grant funds are best used for visits to art, science and cultural museums, community service or civic projects, career enrichment opportunities and other events or activities away from the school facility. Funds may be used to cover field trip-related costs such as transportation, ticket fees, food, resource materials and supplies. Grant Cycle is open: August 1, 2015 at 12:01 a.m. CT and October 1, 2015 at 11:59 p.m. CT

Edmodo: A closed collaboration for each class. Teachers can post homework assignments, quizzes, and tests, polls, etc. Students can easily submit homework assignments. As the teacher you can grade student homework assignments submitted via edmodo. There is also an iPad and iPhone apps.

New Teachers: Watch the New Teacher Survival Guide video series available. There are 8 videos between 10 and 16 minutes in length in this series.
Edutopia: Education foundation established by George Lucas! Provides innovative strategies for teachers. There are articles, blogs and short videos that offer strategies from teachers from around the country. What's cool about these articles and blogs is that they always provide hyperlinks to web tools and websites that are referenced in the articles.
